Fan speculation suggests that Justin Bieber might just join Usher on stage for his headlining slot at the 2024 NFL Super Bowl.
The rumours began circling before this week but went into overdrive after the Baby singer arrived in Las Vegas ahead of the event held at Allegiant Stadium today and attended a Super Bowl party the night before.
Bieber and Usher have a long history of collaborating, and last week, Usher teased that he’d be bringing special guests on stage with him during the halftime show.
Speaking in an Apple Music interview, Usher said:
I think I made it easy for myself when I decided to have features on songs that became hit records, so that gave me the greatest point of reference.
“I have definitely went through a lot of ideas of who I would have share this moment with me, and I do feel like the people who are gonna share it deserve just as much recognition for what they do in their careers – whether we have collaborated together or rather they’ve had moments of their own.
Hinting at more than one special guest, then. According to a recent TMZ report, sources close to the Super Bowl halftime show reported that Alicia Keys would be joining Usher as a special guest, perhaps to perform their 2004 hit My Boo? TMZ also hinted at appearances from Bieber and collaborators Ludacris and Lil Jon (Yeah!).

The Super Bowl, featuring 49ers v Chiefs, began airing in Australia on Channel 7 at 10 am AEDT, with the halftime show set to start at approximately noon.
“It’s an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher commented upon the announcement of his headlining slot, per Variety.
“Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
Usher dropped his first album in nearly eight years, Coming Home, on Friday (9 February). The album features the previously released singles Boyfriend and Good Good featuring 21 Savage and Summer Walker.
