In Hearts Wake Announce 'Decade Of Divination' Tour

This tour is HUGE and will likely make a lot of readers feel old: In Hearts Wake have announced the Decade Of Divination tour, with New York hardcore legends Stray From The Path and Melbourne's The Gloom In The Corner and NSW's Diamond Construct joining in on the fun.

In Hearts Wake and friends will be touring in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle.

In April and May, In Hearts Wake will celebrate the album that kickstarted their career. Remember the features from Parkway Drive's Winston McCall and former Northlane vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes? Divination peaked at #27 on the ARIA charts, setting the stage for a horde of headline shows, international tours and appearances at Soundwave Festival and beyond for In Hearts Wake.

"I guess in some way, it was always on the cards! Excited to finally play this album front to back as well as other hits!!," the band shared in a statement. "Come celebrate the album that paved the way for our future. Who better to join us than our friends in Stray From The Path, The Gloom In The Corner and Diamond Construct. This tour will only happen once."

Early bird pre-sale tickets will be available from tomorrow (8 February) at 9 am AEDT. At 9 am AEDT on Thursday, general tickets will go on sale. Find more ticketing information on the band's website. 

In a 2014 interview with Kill Your Stereo, In Hearts Wake vocalist Jake Taylor discussed the band's outlook on environmental protection, well before the Green Is The New Black documentary was released.

"There's a lot of kids out there who'll listen to bands like Midnight Oil and Frenzal Rhomb, who are very active with their political views, and a lot of it will just go over their heads," he said. "Not because they don't believe in it but because they want things to be sugarcoated and to be happy, and just listen to music. So with doing something like Earth Invaders, it's important for us to keep the fun element to what we do. Because that's what we are, we like to have fun, like jumping off waterfalls for example (laughs). So that was our way of sharing a message and having some fun with it. It's important to keep that sense of humour."
