PREMIERE: Imogen Clark Drops New Christmas Single

With shopping centres begin to blast the same old Christmas tunes again, local singer-songwriter Imogen Clark is here to liven things up with her brand new single.

My Last Christmas With You premieres today via The Music, with Clark once again teaming up with LA-based Mike Bloom (Julian Casablancas, Jenny Lewis) for the new track, the same producer who oversaw her acclaimed The Making Of Me EP.

“It can be hard to walk away from people in your life, even when you know you have to,” Clark told The Music.

“This song is about holding out for the hope of making some last good memories, focusing on the good stuff one last time because you know it’ll be over soon.”

The new track arrives as Clark reveals more acts for her first annual Holiday Hootenanny show in Sydney next month, with mates Montaigne, Shane Nicholson and Jack Moffitt (The Preatures) joining previously announced guests Sarah Belkner, Lozz Benson, Timothy James Bowen, Melanie Dyer, Lindsay McDougall (Frenzal Rhomb) and Georgia Mooney (All Our Exes Live In Texas).
