The all-star hip hop event is going big for its comeback shindig this October
All-star hip hop event Sprung Festival is making its eagerly awaited comeback this year, and organisers have today revealed the A-class list of talent they've gathered to help make it a party to remember.
The charge is led by alum acts Illy (2012) and Allday (2013) as well as nationally acclaimed acts A.B. Original, Tkay Maidza, Spit Syndicate, Pez, Ivan Ooze, B Wise, Mathas, Birdz and Coda Conduct, among a stack of other excellent talent.
Amid the roster, punters will be treated to a diversity of established and emergent hip hop styles, drawing on genres such as electronica, funk, soul, R&B, blues, gospel and rock to create a something-for-everyone smorgasbord of sound hitting the Gold Coast's Parkwood Precinct this October.
The event's comeback will fill a notable hole in the annual festival calendar, giving the nation's broad and burgeoning hip hop community dedicated room to show off its finest artists from all over the country. This is a party several years in the making, and the names revealed today will capably serve to make it more than worth the wait.
