Riverboats Music Festival returns for another year on the Murray River at the Aquatic Reserve, Echuca-Moama, in Northern Victoria. In 2025, the festival will be led by rockers Ian Moss, The Cruel Sea, and John Butler.

Held on Valentine’s Day weekend (Friday, 14 February to Sunday, 16 February), the entire weekend is stacked with great music, including Ian Moss, The Southern River Band, and country music rising stars The Pleasures on Friday, 14 February.

Saturday, 15 February, will see The Cruel Sea perform after Dan Sultan, the recently reformed Little Birdy, indie rock stars the Pierce Brothers and Grace Cummings, Emily Wurramara, and Ballarat-based Skyscraper Stan & The Commission Flats.

As well as headliner John Butler on Sunday, 16 February, Riverboats Music Festival continues its roots, country and rock vibe with the inclusion of Bic Runga, Owelu Dreamhouse, Dan Kelly’s Regional Crisis and alt-country duo Hana & Jessie-Lee's Bad Habits. In addition to music, punters will get to witness the return of Brian Nankervis of RocKwiz fame on MC duties.

Another festival highlight, the Paddlesteamers sideshow, will return again in 2025.

Next year’s Riverboats will be held at its home of the Aquatic Reserve once again – following a successful 2024 event – after being temporarily relocated for the 2023 event due to flooding.
