It's all for a very good cause.
It was just three years ago that Musicians Making A Difference launched its #MMAD4U Day and for the 2017 edition things are getting even bigger and brighter.
Since its conception, the campaign has reached over 1.5 million Australians and supports young people who have dealt with trauma. The day's ethos lies in the idea that even something as simple as a social media call out can reassure people that there is someone that believes in them.
This Friday, social media will be awash with support for young people. MMAD have amassed has a huge group of Australian and international supporters including Niall Horan, Bishop Briggs, Billie Eilish, Vera Blue, Dean Lewis and a heap more.
"People underestimate the power of positive encouragement and the potential it has to transform a life," says MMAD CEO and founder Dominic Brook.

"On Friday December 1, reach out to that person in your life who may need to hear it. We are asking everyone to help raise awareness by posting an image with '#MMAD4U' and tag them in your post because every young person deserves someone who believes in them and the opportunity to live their potential."
In addition to the big day, every year MMAD chooses ten young people from their Rising Stars program to work with mentors from Universal Music Australia and produce a single. This year's single is called Headstrong and all proceeds from the single go to the MMAD charity.
