The return of triple j’s One Night Stand—its first event in five years—goes down in the Victorian coastal city of Warrnambool today, and you don’t have to miss out if you’re not there.
Today, triple j will be going live nationwide. You can listen to triple j from 2 pm today—via the radio or app—as the national broadcaster tracks the entire gig from start to finish.
From 7 pm, triple j will live stream the One Night Stand event visually across the triple j TikTok, YouTube, and ABC iView. If you miss out today, you can catch up tomorrow (Sunday, 15 September), from 8:30 pm, when a One Night Stand special airs on ABC Entertains and ABC iView.
In case you missed it: this year’s One Night Stand will be headlined by G Flip and Ruel, with epic performances also coming from What So Not and friends, Thelma Plum, Sycco, DICE, and local Warrnambool talent Flynn Gurry as the triple j Unearthed competition winner.
One Night Stand goes down today at the Friendly Societies Park on Peek Whurrong Land, Warrnambool, Victoria. You can find the set times below.

In addition to One Night Stand, which happens today, triple j has been teasing something else on its socials, which possibly suggests a rebranding is on the way.
Tickets to this year’s event were sold for an affordable $10 plus booking fees, with all proceeds going to the Australian charity Support Act, which assists our creatives.
In April, triple j Drive hosts Abby Butler and Tyrone Pynor shocked listeners by announcing that the station’s beloved concert series, One Night Stand, would return after a five-year absence. The gig at Warrnambool marks the first time One Night Stand is heading to Victoria in ten years.
2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the One Night Stand, which first debuted in Natimuk, Victoria, in July 2004 with a bill featuring Grinspoon, The Dissociatives, and Eskimo Joe.
The concert returned for another gig in a new city every year until 2020 (with the exception of 2015), when a planned event was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last edition was held in Lucindale, South Australia, in September 2019, with a line-up featuring Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, Ocean Alley, G Flip, and Chelsea Manor.
