Country music's night of nights!
The Wolfe Brothers proved to be the biggest winners of the 2019 Golden Guitar Awards this past weekend, picking up a string of awards.
The Tasmanian trio took home four gongs from their five nominations, including the coveted Album Of The Year honour with their critically-acclaimed fourth album, Country Heart.
Other award winners at Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre on Saturday night included Andrew Swift who took out two categories (Qantas New Talent Of The Year and Alt Country Album Of The Year, Kasey Chambers & The Fireside Disciples (Traditional Country Album Of The Year) and Beccy Cole (Female Artist Of The Year).
James Blundell was also honoured with the industry's most prestigious award - the Australasian Country Music Roll of Renown - following his remarkable 30-plus year career.
“The diversity of talent across the country music industry is well represented tonight," chair of the Country Music Association of Australia, Dan Biddle, said.
