The Jezabels Singer Hayley Mary Joins I OH YOU Roster

Hayley Mary has today been announced as the newest addition to the I OH YOU roster, which coincides with the release of her debut single and video, The Piss, The Perfume.

The Jezabels singer will launch the solo material with headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne in the coming weeks, while she'll also support Alex Lahey's Australian tour this month. 

"I first met Hayley when she had just returned to Australia after a stint overseas and was crashing on the couch at the Redfern share house I was living in (shout out to Taz Morris for inviting Hayley to stay… that really started this whole thing I guess!)," I OH YOU founder Johann Ponniah said.

"I knew of Hayley and had always respected her work but hadn’t met her until then.

"Anyway, I was aware that Hayley had been working on new music but hadn’t heard any of the songs until late last year when Johnny Took flicked me a SoundCloud link of demos that they had recorded in Edinburgh a few weeks before. I was hooked immediately and have been slamming them ever since."

Ponniah also confirmed I OH YOU will be releasing Mary's debut EP "further down the track".
