Touring this November.
In what will be his first ever Australian tour, German pianist Hauschka has announced a string of headline performances to coincide with his appearance at Mullum Music Festival in November.
Hauschka, real name Volker Bertelmann heads to the country in support of his latest album Abandoned City and the composer will perform shows through out the east coast of Australia, starting at Melbourne's Recital Centre on Tuesday 17 November.
From there he will head to The Basement in Sydney on Thursday 19 November and then at the Old Museum in Brisbane the following night, before his already scheduled dates at Mullumbimby.
In celebration of his debut visit to Australia, Hauschka has recorded a very special rendition of the country's unofficial national anthem, Waltzing Matilda — check it out below.
