While the world has experienced a lull in festival activity of late, Handpicked Festival aims to accommodate the partygoer needs of not only punters missing their music, but rural and regional crowds who often miss out on the fun altogether.
For its tenth year in a row, Handpicked Festival aims to defy the odds of the live music slump by providing an eyebrow-raising line-up.
Headliners will include a reunion of sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, Festival royalty The Jungle Giants, and indie crooner Matt Corby, meanwhile rapidly blooming CYRIL, and household name Pete Murray will wow stages with their performances as well.
Well known coastal band The Dreggs, Maori outfit COTERIE and London-based Aus singer Azure Ryder will also add to the soundscapes of the day.
The event will take place on Saturday, 9th November this year at Handpicked’s home located at Lake Breeze Wines at Langhorne Creek in South Australia.
Handpicked Festival is actually a family brand ran by the eldest grandkids of the Lake Breeze Wines family. By holding a festival on their own land and catered with a range of wines from the family estate, Handpicked have avoided a handful of the costs of running a festival, being able to focus on honing a line-up that will draw a crowd.
