To have Greg Puciato back on our shores is seriously fantastic news.

Greg Puciato is coming to Australia in January 2024 with his solo band.
The heavy music vocalist and mastermind behind The Dillinger Escape Plan, the supergroup Killer Be Killed (starring Max Cavalera, Mastodon bassist and co-vocalist Troy Sanders and Converge drummer Ben Koller), his synth-pop outlet The Black Queen, and most recently, the supergroup Better Lovers with ex-Every Time I Die members and END and Fit For An Autopsy’s Will Putney has built an incredible discography of influential, undeniable metal bangers; to have him back on our shores is seriously fantastic news.
For his 2020 debut solo album, Child Soldier: Creator Of God, Puciato wrote and performed a majority of the music, but for the rest, he recruited some mates, including producer Steve Evetts and drummers Chris Pennie (Dillinger Escape Plan), Ben Koller and Chris Hornbook (Poison The Well).
Having launched an independent record label, Federal Prisoner, Puciato is entirely free from any restraints with his solo material. Not content to rest or enjoy having one solo album out, he returned in late 2020 with the experimental live album/studio EP/visual hybrid release, Fuck Content.
Last year, Puciato dropped his second official album under his name, Mirrorcell, which finds his vocals soaring over Alice In Chains meets Cave In moments. You can listen to Lowered featuring Code Orange’s Reba Meyers, below. Oh, did we mention that he plays with Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, too?
Joining Puciato in Australia are trap metal producer King Yosef (real name Tayves Yosef Pellitier), fresh off his exclusive Dark Mofo concert earlier this year, and one-person industrial noise act Trace Amount. The latter, real name Brandon Gallagher, released his debut record, Anti Body Language, on Puciato’s label last year. Trace Amount will be visiting Australia for the first time.
