WA group Great Gable have today announced the postponement of their upcoming national tour due to COVID-19 restrictions.
"Sadly with the current state of COVID restrictions across Australia & NZ, we have made the decision to postpone our tour for October," said the group.
"As keen as we are to get back out on the road and see you all, it's important that everyone is staying safe and healthy and we are all doing our part until this thing is under control.
"Our team has been working hard to reschedule the tour for 2021, and we will have replacement shows for every city on the tour. All current tickets will be valid for the new shows, so if possible we'd love you to hold on to your tickets and continue to support the music industry and venues through this tough time. We totally understand it's been a tough time for everyone so if you do need a refund, please contact the relevant ticketing agency directly to arrange it.
"Big love, stay safe, see ya real soon."
It's not all bad news though, with the band announcing a Western Australian tour for October and November.
They'll kick off the run following their Wave Rock Weekender appearance, with the first show taking place in Fremantle on Thursday 8 October.
Great Gable will then continue on to Bunbury, Margaret River, Dunsborough and wrap up with two shows in Perth.
