The Wu Tang Clan icon will touch down in December
Rap fans, rejoice — renowned rhymesmith and core Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah has announced that he will be hitting the southern hemisphere for a year-closing tour in Australia and New Zealand this December.
Unusually, the veteran performer will be kicking off in Brisbane, at the recently rejuvenated/rebranded Woolly Mammoth, on December 12. From there, he'll make his previously announced appearance at the Meredith Music Festival on December 13, and head on to get crowds screaming in Hobart, Melbourne and Perth before hopping the ditch for three shows in New Zealand.
Ghostface Killah's most recent album was his tenth studio full-length, Twelve Reasons To Die, a concept album replete with accompanying comic book, released in April last year. It received broad acclaim upon its release, yielding several unofficial singles (such as The Rise Of The Ghostface Killah and The Sure Shot (Parts 1 And 2)) alongside its lead cut, Murder Spree. If you're not up to speed on your Ghostface, you can check out the clip for that track below.
Tickets for Ghostface Killah's December tour of Australia (and New Zealand) go on sale from this coming Monday, October 13. See the Gig Guide or check The Music App for more information.
