Gary Clark Jr To Welcome The New Year With Falls Sideshow Dates

Venerated guitarist Gary Clark Jr will complement his forthcoming Australian performance at this year's Falls Music & Arts Festival with two headline sideshow dates in Sydney and Melbourne, it has been announced.

The Grammy-winning virtuoso will perform in the rather fitting surrounds of the Sydney Opera House on Monday 4 January, heading down to The Forum, in Melbourne, on Thursday 7 January. Fans can expect to hear a solid chunk of new aural delight straight from recent second full-length The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim, as well as some classic cuts to keep the long-time lovers happy.

Tickets for Clark's sideshows will go on sale from 10am Monday 12 October via Live Nation, though there is an exclusive 48-hour pre-sale for Telstra customers from 10am Tuesday 6 October through 10am Thursday 8 October as part of their Telstra Thanks initiative; see the website for further details.
