A headline tour in support of his new album.
Texas blues maestro Gary Clark Jr has announced a run of Australian headline dates to coincide with his appearance at Bluesfest this April.
The Grammy Award-winning guitarist will return Down Under for a full national tour in support of his forthcoming album, This Land, which will drop on March 1.
The Music described his 2016 Melbourne show as “riveting”, noting “Clark riffs so fast his hands blur and sometimes his instrument seems to dictate what he plays”.
Clark Jr will perform at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on April 18 before stopping by Byron Bay for festival sets on April 19 and 21, then heading to Canberra Theatre on April 23, The Forum, Melbourne on April 24, Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide on April 15 and Perth Concert Hall on April 27.
Pre-sale kicks off next Monday, January 21, before general public tickets go live on Wednesday, January 23.
