The six-string-slinging virtuoso will play two shows on Aussie shores in April
Acclaimed blues/R&B/rock guitarist Gary Clark Jr has announced a pair of headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney in April next year, when he is in the country as part of the Byron Bay Bluesfest line-up.
The renowned muso will play two intimate shows across the south-eastern capitals, hitting Melbourne's 170 Russell on Wednesday, April 8, before speeding down to Sydney to grace The Metro on Friday, April 10.
Clark was last in the country in support of his widely lauded major-label debut full-length, Blak And Blu (2012), during which time his seamless fusion of blues, R&B and rock'n'roll earned him scores of new fans and solidified his place in the hearts of his existing audience. The man has won Grammys for a reason.
If you haven't had the pleasure of seeing Clark in the flesh, you could always take a punt on recently released live album Gary Clark Jr — Live, but, then again, tickets for Gary Clark Jr's headline Australian shows (as well as Bluesfest) are available now (or buy both, we're not your mother).
