The singer has been missing since early Wednesday.
Scott Hutchinson, lead singer of Scottish indie outfit Frightened Rabbit, is reported to be missing after last being seen in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The band has since released a statement on social media, urging anyone with information to contact police.
"We are worried about Scott, who has been missing for a little while now," the post reads.
"He may be in a fragile state and may not be making the best decisions for himself right now."

Bandmate and brother, Grant Hutchinson, said the frontman was last seen "in a hotel in South Queensferry and hasn’t been seen or heard from since 1am".
It comes after Hutchinson posted two tweets yesterday before his disappearance.
"Be so good to everyone you love. It’s not a given. I’m so annoyed that it’s not. I didn’t live by that standard and it kills me. Please, hug your loved ones," the first tweet reads, while the second simply says, "I'm away now. Thanks".

As BBC reports, Inspector Graeme Dignan has also asked for public assistance with Hutchinson's whereabouts.
"We are keen to locate Scott as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well and would urge anyone who can assist with our ongoing inquiries to come forward," Dignan said.
"If you believe you have seen him since the early hours of Wednesday morning or know where he currently is, then please contact police immediately.
"I'd also urge Scott to get in touch with family, friends or with police, to let us know he is alright."
Frightened Rabbit last toured Australia in 2017 in support of their 2016 album, Painting Of A Panic Attack.
