Thirsty Merc had a run of successful singles in Australia throughout the early 2000s, including In The Summertime, My Completeness, Someday Someday, and 20 Good Reasons. The band have sold over 250,000 albums in Australia, and last June, they released the album Celebration, which featured the lead single As The Days Go By (Daryl Braithwaite cover).
Meanwhile, The Wolfe Brothers lead the punchy second artist announcement for Groundwater Country Music Festival, joining Lee Kernaghan, Casey Barnes, US country star Jackson Dean and Amber Lawrence, Adam Harvey & Beccy Cole, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Melissa Carper, Tori Forsyth, the birthday boy Matt Cornell, recent KIX Country Centre Stage star Chloe Styler and many more.
In a The Music live review of The Radiators, Mental As Anything, Spy V Spy and GANGgajang at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, reviewer Chris Yates said about The Radiators’ performance, “With the crowd full of love (and booze by this stage) they were a fitting end to a night, where a host of old rockers set to help out one of their own.”
