Hobart is receiving the enormous new two-day music festival, HAYDAYS, which will be headlined by UK dance-punks and Aussie favourites Foals, Cold Heart remixers PNAU and English DJ SBTRKT this December.
Brought to you by Vibestown Productions (the team behind Party In The Paddock festival), the inaugural HAYDAYS is a strong Australian-heavy showcase of electronic music, with a bunch of international acts filling up the line-up alongside the locals.
As well as the headliners, the new music festival has locked in The Jungle Giants, Genesis Owusu, Cub Sport, Confidence Man, and Germany’s Erika de Casier alongside breakthrough acts MAY-A, Ziggy Ramo, Medhanit, Miss Kaninna, Jade Zoe, and Dameeela. Rap, dance music, dance-punk, alternative, and even more genres are represented.
HAYDAYS ends with some true local representation, with Tasmania’s own Cyber Switch, EMA, Juice Monsoon, エミエミ (emi emi), Baltimöre Charlót and Baz + Grom closing the line-up.
Vibestown and triple j present the new event, which takes place on Wednesday, 27 and Thursday, 28 December, at the picturesque Cornelian Bay in Hobart City, lutruwita/Tasmania. The festival is located ten minutes from the Hobart CBD and is dubbed a non-camping “two-day, two-night extravaganza of music, culture, and unity”.
The HAYDAYS pre-sale begins on Thursday, 14 September, at 8 am. You can sign up here for pre-sale access. General admission tickets go on sale at 8 am on Tuesday, 19 September.
