The Victorian outfit will join the US heavyweights for all three of their September shows
Melburnian psych/shoegaze upstarts Flyying Colours have picked up the honours of being named as primary supports for A Place To Bury Strangers' impending Australian tour next month.
Although they're not the only act to join the US heavyweights' forthcoming sojourn - Luna Ghost step up in Melbourne, Narrow Lands in Sydney and Dreamtime up Brisbane way - Flyying Colours are the only one of the crop to be aboard for each and every performance, meaning fans in all three cities can have a chance to catch them in action when the convoy rolls through the Corner Hotel on 4 September, Manning Bar on 5 September, and Crowbar on 6 September.
The impetus for the wider tour, of course, is A Place To Bury Strangers' most recent full-length, Transfixiation, but Flyying Colours have much to crow about too - most specifically, it's not long since they unveiled their EP ROYGBIV for eager ears, and they've just seen the radio premiere of their new cut Running Late, which they'll be launching with a separate show to the above this coming Friday, 7 August, at Waywards (The Bank Hotel), Newtown.
