His first solo tour in six years.
New Zealand indie songsmith Marlon Williams has announced a string of solo Australian shows this September and October.
An Evening With Marlon Williams will see the much loved musician take to the stage to showcase his tunes like audiences have never heard before. With Williams onstage alone, tunes such as What's Chasing You and Dark Child will be re-contextualised with a brand new intimacy for his fans to experience first hand.
The tour will also see the first time Williams has been able to tour Australia since the release of his 2020 release, Plastic Bouquet. Recorded in lockdown with Canadian folk two-piece Kacy & Clayton, Williams will premiere the tunes live and he plays solo for the first time in six years.
Plastic Bouquet received rave reviews upon release in 2020, with The Music calling the album "Deceptively jaunty... sentimental and sincere".
It's also the first music Williams has made since debuting as an actor in titles like A Star Is Born and The True History Of The Kelly Gang.
Tickets for An Intimate Evening With Marlon Williams will go on sale this Friday.
