It’s been a whirlwind six months for Aussie troubadours Lisa Mitchell and Dustin Tebbutt as they circle the globe on different paths in support of their respective new albums, and they’ll now come together and share stages around the country on the Distant Call tour.
The pair will play nine gigs throughout June and July, sharing a backing band and songs – including hits from Tebbutt’s debut, First Light, and Mitchell’s acclaimed new LP, Warriors - over an hour and a half set.
“It already feels like the show is going to be something totally different,” Mitchell said.
“When Dustin and I were brainstorming the name of the tour, I suggested, ‘New Phone, Who Dis?’ Don’t know why he didn’t go for it.”
