Great news for fans of Australian music icon and adult entertainer Donny Benét, who announced the release of his new album, Infinite Desires, and accompanying world tour dates.
The new album will be released on Thursday, 29 February 2024, via the artist’s independent label, Donnyland Records. Described as his “most complete musical statement yet” in a press release, his sixth album will contain eight tracks that “embrace a diversity of experience, from elation to introspection, from disquiet to unbridled ecstasy”.
You can pre-order the new album here and check out the music video for the first single, Multiply, below.
“It gives me the great pleasure to announce my latest album, Infinite Desires, which will be making its way into your lives on February 29, 2024,” Benét wrote on Instagram this week. “It's a real special one for me in so many ways, especially as I'm releasing it on my own label, Donnyland Records.”

In addition to the album announcement, Benét will tour across the East Coast of Australia in June 2024. Tickets are on sale now, with a “special” ticket option available for Australian fans. You can purchase your tickets here.
Benét teased the launch of Donnyland Records last month, sharing the label image of a chef with a moustache holding a hot record instead of a pizza.
As Benét confirmed with The Music, he certainly was preparing to launch his own label, as well as announce forthcoming new music.
Benét released his fifth album, Mr Experience, in May 2020, with the release reaching #26 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Benét did well in other areas, too, with his 2017 track Konichiwa inspiring Canadian superstar The Weeknd – the song featured on The Weeknd’s Handpicked Playlist, which showcased 24 songs that inspired his blockbuster record After Hours.
Earlier this year, Benét took home the honour of Best Independent Jazz Album or EP at the Australian Independent Record Awards (AIR) for his recent EP, Le Piano.
