Dom Dolla made an unannounced appearance at this year’s Beyond The Valley festival in Victoria, performing a set alongside headliners RÜFÜS DU SOL.
The two sets went down last Saturday (December 30) on the Dance Dome stage. RÜFÜS DU SOL also performed on the Valley Stage as billed the night prior (December 29), however their Saturday set was left as a surprise. Dom’s set was also notable since it meant he’s now performed at all eight Beyond The Valleys.
Also memorable was the moment Dom and RÜFÜS DU SOL shared the stage at Beyond The Valley 2023, performing the former’s remix of the latter’s single Make It Happen. It marked the first time both acts appeared onstage together for the moment, some 16 months after the song was first released in August of 2022.
Elsewhere at the festival, Romy Croft dropped the bombshell news that his band The xx are working on their fourth studio album. In addition to him and RÜFÜS DU SOL, last year’s edition of the festival sported the likes of FERG (formerly known as A$AP FERG), Flight Facilities, Mall Grab, The Jungle Giants, Central Cee, DMA’S, Peggy Gou and Overmono.
Meanwhile, Dom Dolla recently wowed the crowds at his final sold-out show at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Bowl in December, welcoming a surprise appearance by Spiderbait for his Black Betty remix.
