An outstanding line-up of acts confirmed for latest Friday Nights at NGV series
Friday Nights at NGV are returning with newborn series Degas: A New Vision on 24 June, offering after-hours art and an impressive line-up of beloved Australian artists and special overseas guests alike.
The debut exhibition will display the biggest collection of Edgar Degas' works Australia has yet to see and over 13 weeks you can combine the renowned drawings, paintings, sculptures and photographs of the prolific French artist with some of the best acts that Australia has to offer.
ARIA Award winner Clare Bowditch, Bad Seed Mick Harvey, indie-pop five-piece Augie March, Brisbane rockers The Grates and Kid Congo Powers, best known as a former member of The Gun Club and The Cramps, with his current day outfit The Pink Monkey Birds lead the line-up for the next installment of Friday nights.
Not to mention The Goon Sax, Husky, The Apartments, Halfway, Jen Cloher, The Painted Ladies and Pierce Brothers.
