Kicking the lockout laws the old fashioned way, with a ripper of a show.
Bedlam Records has been kicking it old-school since their inception and don't plan to stop, having just dropped their line-up for a good old-fashioned show. Featuring some old and new faces, this year's Deadlam festival will celebrate all things good, with the main attraction obviously being the music.
From simple beginnings at a warehouse, Deadlam has become a four-stage free-for-all, spread over three venues — The Brightside, The Foundry and Black Bear Lodge — and featuring twelve of the best contemporary acts doing the rounds at present.
Celebrated Aussie outfit The Drones will be headlining on one of their final live appearances for 2016; if that's not reason enough for you to drag your carcass out of the house, feast your eyes on the rest of the roster, including seven-piece fly-in faves Dorsal Fins, dream-pop sextet Shining Bird, alternative boys Twin Haus, garage-rockers You Beauty and Thigh Master are also aboard for the shindig, as are hip hop/jazz outfit Astro Travellers, sombre rockers Romeo Moon, and rising star Squidginini. The devilish 'do is rounded out by new kids on the block Rahms, Tiana Khasi, Bugs and Voiids.
This year's expanded Deadlam event will be held on Friday 4 November; tickets are available now via Oztix.
