It’s any dog owner’s worst nightmare: David Draiman’s 10-week-old Golden Retriever puppy, Charlotte, has gone missing. The Disturbed frontman suspects that Charlotte was taken from their yard and is offering a reward to anyone who helps find his sweet pup.
“It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I have to announce that our dear puppy, Charlotte has been missing since the morning before last. We think she was taken by someone/something when she was playing out in the yard,” Draiman wrote on Instagram eleven hours ago (1 October).
“Reward for [anyone] with any information on her whereabouts that leads to finding her. 10 week old Golden Retriever puppy, Charlotte. Taken from the Coral Gables area of Miami”.
On 8 September, Draiman got down with the cuteness and shared the first puppy photos of himself and Charlotte. The little pup is pictured in his arms, on her bed, and smiling beside her dad with the caption, “Say hello to the newest member of the Draiman family…Charlotte!!”

Draiman has since shared six other posts related to Charlotte before sharing that she’s gone missing. We hope that Charlotte returns home safely soon.
Chris Daughtry, of Daughtry and American Idol fame, commented on Draiman’s Instagram post about Charlotte going missing, “Fuuuuuuuck bro!!!!! That is awful!!!! I am so sorry to hear this”. I Prevail’s Eric Vanlerberghe added, “This absolutely breaks my heart. I’m so sorry man.” Vocal coach and YouTube personality Elizabeth Zharoff (The Charismatic Voice) commented, “This is awful and I'm so very sorry!”
Hard rocker Mixi also offered some advice, writing, “Omg nooooo! Try posting on all Lost and found pet Facebook pages near you, post in the next door app, put up posters in the neighborhood, contact all the local shelters, if she’s chipped they can scan her for owners, hopefully she just got out and someone is watching her.”
Disturbed released their eighth album, Divisive, in November 2022. The album includes an AI-generated music video for the single Bad Man. The album landed at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart upon release.
On 1 June 2023, Draiman revealed that a benign tumour was found and removed from his arm.
