Crowded House To Headline The VAILO Adelaide 500
Crowded House fill the Adelaide-shaped hole on their forthcoming Australian tour and join fellow headliners Cold Chisel at the VAILO Adelaide 500.

Crowded House have filled the Adelaide-filled hole in their forthcoming Australian tour schedule, announcing that they’ll headline the VAILO 500.
Confirming the suspicion of some commenters on social media, the big announcement was shared this morning. On Saturday, 16 November, Crowded House will open the After Race Concert Series at the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500 with a headlining set.
The iconic ARIA Award-winning band will headline the event for the first time and bring along special guest Meg Mac, who recently released her third album, Matter Of Time. Music SA will also provide additional support acts.
In a statement, VAILO Adelaide 500’s Event and Concert Manager Brian Gleeson OAM commented: “It is so exciting to have rock royalty Crowded House perform for our fans for the first time at the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series.
“With 13 ARIA Awards, they are an internationally renowned act who will no doubt draw fans from all across the state.”

In case you missed it: Crowded House are bringing their new album, Gravity Stairs (out this Friday), to Australian and New Zealand audiences this November and December.
Their Australian run begins at Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden (Friday, 29 November) before continuing at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt (Wednesday, 4, and Thursday, 5 December), a night at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (Tuesday, 10 December), Newcastle Entertainment Centre (Friday, 13 December), and wraps up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 14 December.
Singer Neil Finn said about the band’s return down under: “So looking forward to getting amongst our people having practised on the Northern Hemisphere for a few months.
