Cosmic Psychos To Lead The 30th Reclink Community Cup This June

The Reclink Community Cup is celebrating its 30^th year of AFL and music this year, and to mark the occasion, event organisers have announced the first batch of artists who will perform at Melbourne’s Victoria Park.

On Sunday, 18 June, Megahertz (Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM) will take on Melbourne music royalty, the rugged Rock Dogs (musicians) led by Coach Cash Savage.

“The Reclink Community Cup is a special and unique day where footy and music come together for everyone to enjoy,” Dave Wells, the CEO of Reclink Australia said in a statement.

“The support from our partners, sponsors, football and music industry as well as the wider community is amazing and is the reason why we are able to hold the event year after year. We are so proud to celebrate 30 years since the first match was played.

“As the Community Cup has grown, our impact and programs we are able to deliver continues to grow and enable us to improve participants’ physical and mental health and promote social inclusion within the community.”

Since its inception 30 years ago, the Community Cup now raises over $200,000 annually for Reclink Australia.

Reclink Community Cup announced Moon Dog as its new national partner, with the craft brewery co-founder and CEO Josh Uljans stating: “Community Cup has always been an event our team look forward to and get behind, so we are absolutely stoked to be on board officially as the drinks partner and kick off the partnership during the 30th anniversary.

“It’s a great day out with mates supporting the local community and we’re thrilled Moon Dog is a part of it.”

The event series will kick off in Victoria and then head to Brisbane on 30 July with other states to follow.
