Corey Taylor's new debut solo album out today, CMFT, features a song dedicated to legendary frontman Bon Scott and AC/DC, but don't expect the Slipknot singer to put his hand up to play with the iconic band.

"When I was younger, I could hit a lot of Bon Scott notes, but I don't know if I can now. Let's put it that way!

"And I certainly can't hit Brian Johnson stuff. I can't even hit the stuff he did when he was in Geordie!

"He's fucking up there, man."

"Those are huge shoes to step in and I don't know if I can do it, just for the fact that I don't know if I could do it justice, man," Taylor continued.

"I would never consign myself to disrespect the music by not being able to play it the way that it was meant to be played, you know?"
