"It only felt right to record a softer version better suited to those late-night drives or early morning flights."
East Coast pop punkers Columbus today reveal a reimagining of their latest single, Temporary Summer.
The new version and its accompanying clip, premiering today via The Music, were recorded by frontman Alex Moses in his home studio.
"Temporary Summer's a song about escaping, so it only felt right to record a softer version better suited to those late-night drives or early morning flights,” Moses said.
“If the normal Temporary Summer is the angsty teen that Dad hates, Temporary Summer (Acoustic) is the soft-spoken, polite friend you'd bring home to meet the parents. Mum has always said she likes our acoustic songs, so we recorded this one for her."
