Client Liaison To Take A Break, Focus On Solo Ventures

Australian dance/electronic music favourites Client Liaison – vocalist Monte Morgan and keyboardist/producer Harvey Miller – are set to take a break.
Making the announcement on Facebook, the band revealed that their current expansive Australian tour, the Club Liaison tour, will be “the last chance to see us for a while”. The reason? Morgan and Miller will take time in 2024 to focus on their solo projects.
They continued, “Thank you for your support over the years, it means the world to us. This summer is all about celebrating the history of Client Liaison, so come on down to a Club Liaison DJ set and get wild with us. We’ll be active on the Client Liaison socials, keeping you up to date with the new music we’ve both been working on. We can’t wait to share it with you.”
Before anyone panics, the duo have already confirmed that they’re not breaking up, responding to a concerned fan on Instagram, “no break up! Just fun things to show you soon!”
The Club Liaison tour hits Coffs Harbour tonight, followed by shows in Coolangatta, Caloundra, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Cairns, Gosford, Newcastle, Kingscliff, Brisbane, Fremantle, Dunsborough, Albury, Melbourne, Frankston, South Morang, Canberra, Wollongong and Darwin. The tour wraps up on Sunday, 31 March.
Client Liaison have released numerous singles, a self-titled EP in 2014, and two albums, 2016’s Diplomatic Immunity, and their most recent LP, 2021’s Divine Intervention. Their first ARIA Top 10 album, Divine Intervention peaked at #7 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Following its October 2021 release, Client Liaison toured in support of the album, putting on a hotly anticipated show at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre.
Capturing the show’s rowdy ending, The Music reviewer Michael Prebeg detailed, “The band throws flowers at the audience and even dismantles the stage prop colosseum pillars and launches them into the front row to bounce around the mosh-pit. Sparks shower down over the stage, and The Real Thing and House Of Holy bring the show to a close with epic saxophone and pan-flute solos to raise the roof one last time.”
