Delta Goodrem has announced an air date for the fifth edition of her annual Christmas With Delta special, hitting TV screens nationwide later this week.
The show – taped live at a sold-out event performed at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre last month – will be screened at 7pm this Sunday (December 17) on Channel Nine. It sees Goodrem herself joined by a cast of special guests, including Russell Crowe and Indoor Garden Party (with whom she performed a duet of Let Your Light Shine), Rai Thistlethwayte of Thirsty Merc (for Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree) and Robbie Williams (for It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas).
Goodrem also linked up with Teddy Swims for a joint performance of This Christmas, Budjerah for Silent Night, and G Flip for Christmas Baby Please Come Home. Rounding out the special are performances from a suite of other acts, like Bebe Rexha, David Campbell, and the iconic duo of Kate Ceberano and Jon Stevens (who reunited for their first joint performance of Jesus Christ Superstar in 30 years). Jamie Durie and comedian Steph Tisdell also make guest appearances.
As is tradition for Christmas With Delta, this year’s special comes in support of The Delta Goodrem Foundation, and in particular this year’s festive Community Of Kindness campaign.
In a statement published by TV Tonight, Goodrem said of the impending special: “I am thrilled to unwrap the magic of my fourth Christmas special with the 9Network, sharing heartwarming surprises, incredible guest performances and a sleigh full of beloved Christmas classics, all bundled up in the warmth of Christmas kindness.”

2023 has been a huge year for Goodrem. In addition to her milestone engagement to longtime partner and guitarist Matthew Copley, she released the standalone single Back To Your Heart and the smash-hit movie Love Is In The Air. She’s also kept busy with touring; reviewing a Melbourne show of hers in September, Monique La Terra wrote for The Music: “It’s simply un-Australian not to love Delta.”
Back in October, too, the Australian music industry rallied around Goodrem to be inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame.
