Chris Isaak Adds Extra Show To Australian Tour

Tour promoters Live Nation have announced a new Chris Isaak show to take place in Melbourne in April to meet overwhelming demand.

The American crooner has announced a run of A Day On The Green dates, as well as headline dates in theatres. After announcing a second show at Sydney’s State Theatre, Isaak added an extra one at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre after the first concert sold out.

The second show will occur on Wednesday, 17 April – the night after the first sold-out show. Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 28 February, from 1 pm until noon on Thursday, 29 February. The general sale opens at 1 pm on Thursday, 29 February – you can find tickets via the Live Nation website.

“I am sitting on my front porch in Nashville, Tennessee and smiling,” Isaak said about his upcoming Australian tour dates. “I have been stuck in my house for nine days because of the snow. But I have been in a great mood as I know I’m going back to Australia!

“I think it’s my favourite place to tour… or just hang out. I’m so ready! Bring on the sun! Bring on the beach! I think I’m gonna wax my guitar…. I told you I was excited!”

For A Day On The Green, Chris Isaak will be joined by an abundance of Australian talent, including indie rockers Boy & Bear, Vika & Linda, Mark Seymour & The Undertow (all cities excluding Victoria), Ella Hooper (Victorian exclusive), and Mason Watts (Queensland exclusive).

His upcoming Australian tour dates are his first down under in six years. You can find all the tour dates below.
