The Victorian festival is starting to take shape nicely for next year.
Victorian music, art and culture mecca Babylon returns for a magical weekend in February 2018, and organisers have today unveiled the epic first list of acts set to soundtrack the festivities.
The way is led by legendary artist Carl Cox, who will play not one but two sets — one, an homage to his recent outing at Burning Man in the United States; the second, a surprise (for now) — as well as celebrated French producer Laurent Garnier, making his return to Australia for the first time since 2009.
Also on the card are Agents Of Time, the debut Aussie tour for Deborah De Luca, rising techno whiz Enrico Sangiuliano, crowd-favourite duo Pan-Pot, accidentally controversial DJ Dax J and Chicago house producer Derrick Carter, as well as Lauren Lane, Gorovich, Space Cat, Psysex, Giorgia Angiuli, Victor Ruiz and stacks more.
The 2018 festival will be held in Carapooee West in the Northern Grampians from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 February. Along with its musical offerings, Babylon promises a buffet of artistic and cultural attractions to keep all your senses stoked right through the weekend.
