And all the money is going to a good cause...
Cardi B + the offending microphone (TikTok/eBay)
Cardi B's recent mic-tossing shenanigans in Sin City might not have landed her in hot water, but they sure did make some serious cash for charities after an audio production company auctioned off the infamous microphone for an eye-watering amount.
ICYMI: Cardi was forming Bodak Yellow at Drai's Beachclub last month when a rowdy member of the crowd threw a drink at the star in the middle of her performance.
Briefly shocked, Cardi quickly retaliated by chucking her microphone into the crowd at the offending party, which appeared to hit the offending crowd member along with another woman who was nearby. The entire ordeal was caught on several videos taken by the audience.
Following the wild moment, another fan (believed to be a different woman than the one who threw the drink) made a police complaint about the incident, but Cardi B was not charged.
Now, according to TMZ, an eBay auction featuring the now-famous microphone has closed out with a winning bid of $99,900 after being listed by Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave Inc, a Las Vegas-based audio production company that provided sound equipment to Drai's Beachclub.
Not bad considering the eBay listing began at $500 and the microphone itself was worth $1,000!

Fisher told CBS that he had proved the mic was the rapper’s as it was labelled and synchronised with Cardi B's earpiece.
"It's standard procedure to mark all microphones and in-ear systems as to whom they 'go to' prior to soundcheck to make sure the same person gets the correct items during the show," he said.
Additionally, "you could see white tape on the Cardi B mic in all the videos, and that is how we knew which mic was hers."
The proceeds from the auction will go to a good cause — Friendship Circle Las Vegas and the Wounded Warrior Project — which are two charities that assist young adults with special needs and provide aid to severely wounded veterans.
