"Be prepared for a lot of brass and a lot of smiles."
Beloved Gold Coast music festival Blues On Broadbeach has unveiled its first 2019 artist announcement, with some of the genre’s best locked down for the May 16 - 19 event.
US rockers Canned Heat will headline next year’s event, returning to Blues On Broadbeach for a second time, while blues icon Eric Bibb also makes the trip.
The festival has also enlisted some serious local talent, with Harts gracing the bill after his 2017 slot had to be cancelled due to bad weather, while The Bamboos, The Kate Lush Band and more also represent Australian talent.
“This year’s festival is so varied and unique, be prepared for a lot of brass and a lot of smiles,” festival director Mark Duckworth said.
