It’s official: the Bunnings rave – led by Peking Duk and What So Not – is going down on Saturday, 31 August, and it’s happening in Melbourne.
Peking Duk revealed the details in a new video yesterday (14 August). In it, they shared that the Bunnings car park hosting the rave event is in Preston—64-74 Bell Street, to be exact.
The event will have a sausage sizzle, exclusive Bunnings rave merchandise, and face painting. All proceeds from the sausage sizzle and ticket sales will go to Support Act.
In addition to the headliners, the Bunnings rave will host the person who started it all—19-year-old DJ Kaila. Peking Duk promise to play “brand new, unreleased” music. The event is a 16+ dry day out, but those who want to party afterwards can join Peking Duk for an afterparty.
Only two tickets are available per person, but if you miss out, the Bunnings rave will be streamed live on TikTok. You can purchase tickets via Moshtix today at 10 am AEST.
UPDATE at 10:33 am: Tickets to the Bunnings rave sold out almost immediately, with Peking Duk writing that they were gone in 0.5 seconds.

Last month, What So Not revealed he and Peking Duk had “just had our first official conversations with Bunnings” about making the rave an actual, legitimate event.
He continued, “It took a lot longer than I thought because there is so much red tape about what can and cannot be done. All I can say for now is that we are all officially talking, which is a pretty big step forward.”
The DJ told The Daily Telegraph it’s a “community-supporting idea” he’s pushing to host and said he’s hopeful Bunnings’ higher-ups will approve the concept: “We’ll see what happens over the next couple of weeks, and yes, there has to be a sausage sizzle.”
The petition to have a rave at Bunnings kicked off in June, starting with Kaila posting a video of himself remixing the Bunnings theme tune with a hard-hitting beat.
After Bunnings responded, Kaila posted another video with the caption, “The time has come for the most Australian rave in history… let’s set the date.”
