Plus, is the man himself about about to announce a tour down under?
The works of the legendary Bob Dylan are set to take to the stage early next year - with the West-End musical based on his songs confirmed to be coming to Sydney.
Girl From The North Country is a tale of working-class America during the Great Depression, incorporating tunes from the singer/songwriter's vastly spanning back-catalogue. When a hard-pressed Minnesotan family are gretted in the night by some unfamiliar visitors, their world plunges even further into chaos.
Directed by Conor McPherson, the new production is set to feature multi-award winning actor Lisa McCune in a starring role - alongside fellow Aussie stage performers Helen Dallimore, Peter Carrol, Terrence Crawford and more.
“Every now and then a show or character has a profound effect on you," McCune said of her new role."Girl from the North Country and Elizabeth Laine were that for me, and I am thrilled to be to be part of an incredible ensemble cast for the Australian Premiere at the newly renovated Theatre Royal Sydney."
She added, “With music and lyrics by the legendary Bob Dylan, set to a beautiful book written by Conor McPherson, I know audiences will share in a memorable theatrical experience.”

The news also comes as Dylan quietly announced a new tour set to run from the November all the way into 2024. Entitled Rough And Rowdy Ways (after his 2020 album of the same name), the shows are being billed as a world tour.
While no word has been officially given on Australian dates at this time, the billing and sheer length of the tour have fans extremely excited at the prospect of some shows down under.
Girl From The North Country runs from 06 - 30 January 2022. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
