Perth's annual metal, rock and punk event comes back for a 5th round, with all proceeds to be onated to charity
Back for a face-metling 5th instalment, Perth's Blood Rock Fest has just dropped it's 2012 lineup, weighing in at a hefty 26 bands worth of punk, rock, hardcore, metal and grind.
Slated for Saturday the 17 November at Perth's Civic Hotel, the festival is headed up by Malignant Monster, The Chainsaw Hookers (who founded the event back in 2009) and Arrowhead. It also features the wonderfully named Ebola Goldfish, Chilling Winston and the amply-umlauted local boys Förstöra. The full lineup also includes:
The Floors, Broozer, Scalphunter, Diamond Eye, Blunt Force Trauma, Local Resident Failure, Sure Fire Midnights, Goat, Wizard Sleeve, Dyatlov, The Branson Tramps, Severtone, The Bob Gordons, Blindspot, Yianni McStavros, Rob Wass, Pat Decline, Stuart McKay, Ben David (ADL) and Caleb Entrails.
While Blood Rock's abrasive, riff-heavy lineup tends towards the more brutal side of things, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Luke Adams Foundation, which does work among the local community to prevent alcohol-related violence and street conflict.
