Plus the return of the legendary Secret Shows!
BIGSOUND’s glorious in-person return is within reach and organisers have today revealed the full conference and festival schedule for the September 6-9 event.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, over 50 additional speakers have been confirmed, with representatives from Apple Music, triple j, Warner Music and more signing on, while the legendary BIGSOUND Secret Shows makes its return as part of Amazon Music’s BIGSOUND After Midnight events.
BIGSOUND has teased that the secret acts locked in for those shows “will be worth staying up way later than you should”.
Additionally, the triple j Unearthed winners have been unveiled, with Clea and WILSN joining the showcase line-up, which boasts over 180 of Australia’s finest emerging talent across 21 venues over three nights.

Just last week a slew of notable names were added to the conference program as the festival's highly anticipated parties were announced, including the BIGSOUND closing party, hosted by The Music and Secret Sounds.
After confirming #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke and internet-born pop sensation Rebecca Black alongside Mushroom Group CEO Matt Gudinski, artist and advocate Jaguar Jonze and more as part of the first conference reveal in June, WRKSHP CEO/Founder and Grammy Award-winning talent Che Pope was announced alongside Australian-born music supervisor Tricia Holloway, Global Music Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, Yanyuwa/Wardaman songwoman Shellie Morris and more.
Meanwhile, the packed festival line-up includes the likes of Tasman Keith, Budjerah, flowerkid, Hope D, Mia Wray, Teenage Joans and The Terrys, just to name a few.
BIGSOUND received an overwhelming amount of artist applications this year, narrowing down 182 acts from a record-breaking 1300+ hopefuls (38 more than its last in-person event in 2019).
The line-up will play to hundreds of labels, publishers, agents, festival programmers, publicists and industry delegates all on the lookout for the next big thing.
