The Brooklyn four-piece have beefed up their impending local visit for Meredith Music Festival.
Ascendant US band Big Thief have announced a run of headline dates to complement their upcoming Australian sojourn for Meredith Music Festival this December.
Hitting both the west and east coasts, the group will kick off their tour at Fremantle's Fly By Night club before heading over to party with punters in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Brunswick Heads around their festival commitment.
Big Thief made their Australian debut earlier this year, winning plaudits and fans across the country with their earnest, folksy blend of indie-rock rawness, and will return with a raft of new songs under their belts to boot, having released their acclaimed second album, Capacity, back in June.
The record follows their similarly lauded 2016 debut, Masterpiece, and continues to build the band's mythos as being one of the more extraordinary ensembles to have emerged in recent years.
