Previously being described as "equal parts light show, art show and live music extravaganza," Big Scary have taken their time to grace Aussie stages in recent years. However, the group finally announced today that they'll be hitting the road from next month for their first live outings in four years.
The duo of Jo Syme and Tom Iansek have been hard at work in the studio of late - crafting their newest LP, Daisy, which hit shelves last April to critical acclaim. Now, fans will be able to hear the new tracks live for the first ever time, with the group hitting stages in Brisbane, Melbourne and Castlemaine throughout August and September.
Daisy also beckons major stylistic shift for the group, being the first album from the duo without guitars featured anywhere in the album. Nods to disco, art-pop, and funk are all scatted throughout the release, making for a slew of new tunes that are desperate to be heard live.
