Check out the new single 'Crutch' now.
American indie rockers Band Of Horses have just dropped a brand new single, leading the announce of their first full-length album in over five years to be released in early 2022.
Vocalist Ben Bridwell explained that the new tune, Crutch, was a personal introspective into the falling in love - sometimes a little too hard.
"I think like a lot of my songs, Crutch starts with something from my real life," he said.
"Obviously Crutch means some of the things that I was dependent on. My relationship for one. I think I wanted to say, ‘I’ve got a crush on you,’ and I thought it was funny how relationships also feel like crutches.
"I feel like everybody has had a time when nothing goes right and you still have to carry on. I think that feeling hits you in this song even if you don’t know what the specifics are."
The track comes equiped with a brand new lyric video that's part karaoke, part old school tv channel surfing. It's the first taste of their sixth studio album Things Are Great - slated for release 21 January, 2022.
