Hitting shelves next month.
Local hip hop duo AB Original have been confirmed to appear as part of the in-game soundtrack for the upcoming NBA 2K22.
The newest in the series of the much-loved video game franchise, the soundtrack is also set to feature the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Skepta, Travis Scott and tons more, and is set for release on 10 September.
The duo will be heard throughout the game, including menu screens, stage selections, and as part of the on-court atmosphere during gameplay.
With no word yet on what tracks may appear in the soundtrack, the announcement has sparked hope of new music from the Briggs and Trials collab.
The band have remained active throughout their respective careers, but have not released new music since the 2018 standalone single Blaccout. The team have remained staples in the local music scene, owing to their no-holds-barred lyricism and collaborations with the likes of Thelma Plum, Paul Kelly and Dan Sultan.
The NBA series is no stranger to promoting Aus music and has previously highlighted the likes of Tame Impala, Sia, and Alison Wonderland throughout their games.
