Audience Member Files Battery Report After Cardi B Throws Microphone Into Crowd

A woman who claims she was hit by Cardi B‘s microphone when she hurled it into the crowd at a Las Vegas concert has filed a police report for battery, authorities say.

ICYMI: The rapper was performing Bodak Yellow at Drai's Beachclub on Saturday when a member of the crowd threw a drink at the star in the middle of her performance.

Briefly shocked, Cardi quickly retaliated by chucking her microphone into the crowd at the offending party, which appeared to hit the offending crowd member along with another woman who was nearby. The entire ordeal was caught on several videos taken by the audience.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has since confirmed to NBC News that a woman who was not named reported a battery case to police one day after the concert, although no charges have been filed.

The woman said “she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage” during a concert Saturday, police said in a statement.

The incident has been documented in a police report, but at this time no arrest or citations have been issued, officials said. No further information was released.

It comes following a video emerging of a person claiming to be a member of the crowd saying they were “bruised and sore” after being hit by the microphone - though they insist they weren’t the ones throwing it.

An eyewitness who spoke to ET said that just prior to the wild moment, Cardi had asked for the crowd to help cool her off with water, but to “only throw it on her legs and butt.”

"Cardi B was performing at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. She was telling the crowd that she was hot and wanted them to throw water on her body and legs while she twerked due to the heat," the eyewitness said.

"Then suddenly the girl in the video threw a drink in Cardi’s face. After the woman was escorted out, Cardi B continued the performance and told the crowd to throw the water on her a** not on her face."
