"The Craziest Voice In Sydney" Joins I OH YOU Roster

Aussie artist Andy Golledge has today been announced as the newest artist on the I OH YOU roster.

The signing comes ahead of the Sydney songwriter's debut EP, Namoi, due out on Friday 7 February next year. Check out the video for his debut single, Run To The River, below. 

I OH YOU founder Johann Ponniah said he was first introduced to Golledge's music through DMA'S members, Matt Mason and Johnny Took, who said the indie roots singer had "the craziest voice in Sydney".

"Their love of his music had also led them to occasionally play in his band whenever they could and on this particular Sunday arvo, Mase was playing slide guitar for Andy at the Black Sheep," Ponniah said.

"I went down to check it out and was blown away, everything they had described was spot on… from his voice, to the story telling, the overall charisma… it was crazy!

"I very quickly became a huge fan and am so happy to finally welcome him to the I OH YOU label family."

Golledge will next perform at the Marrickville Bowlo in Sydney this November followed but a set at Fairgrounds Festival in Berry in December.
