The Brooklyn-based alt-poppers will make their debut visit to NZ at the same time
Brooklyn-bred alt-pop stalwarts American Authors have revealed they are all set to return to Australia and make their inaugural trip across the ditch to New Zealand this September.
The tour will kick off in Brisbane on Friday, September 19, at the Hi-Fi, and over the next week takes in stops in Melbourne and Sydney before finishing up with an all-ages showing in Auckland.
It's not been that long since American Authors were last on our shores, having completed a visit earlier this year to support recently released debut LP Oh, What A Life that saw them play an intimate concert for 300 lucky punters beyond the horrifying face-gate of Luna Park.
In addition, they've subconsciously endeared themselves to the Aussie public of late via their cracking tune Best Day Of My Life, which national bottle-store chain BWS saw fit to sync to one of their recent advertisements, and has done great guns on the airwaves and digitally, cracking top 15 and top 10 lists for each, respectively.
