August is looking good.
Arts Centre Melbourne's Supersense festival is back for another year and it's set to be a big one.
The three-day event is curated by Sophia Brous and will feature "icons of music, theatre, dance and performance ritual from five continents".
Announced on this year's line-up is US actor and director Robert Wilson who will perform John Cage’s A Lecture On Nothing in an Australian exclusive, New Zealand artist Aldous Harding who has recently released her new album Designer, US artist John Maus, and New Zealand's Marlon Williams who will perform alongside The Impossible Orchestra.
They'll be joined by The Art Ensemble Of Chicago, Moor Mother, Merce Cunningham Centennial solo performances, Hamid Al-Saadi, Setabuhan, The Native Cats and more.
Supersense: Festival Of The Ecstatic will take place from 23-25 August, with tickets on sale from Monday 3 June at 10am.
